MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA / RankWire.AI / – Meta has rolled out Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, its most advanced artificial intelligence models to date. These new systems are tailored for tasks involving coding, long-duration AI agents, and complex personal or professional workflows. According to Meta, the models are capable of assisting users with navigating insurance claims, interpreting leases, analyzing financial data, and developing functional applications. Muse Wonder became accessible on October 12 via the Meta Model API and Muse Code, while Muse Wonder Full was released specifically for Muse Code subscribers.

This launch signifies Meta’s strategic expansion into AI systems that can manage multi-step processes, moving beyond simple prompt-response capabilities. Muse Wonder can plan extended tasks, assign subtasks to subordinate agents, utilize various software tools, and recover from errors during execution. The models are also engineered for advanced computer use across browsers, desktop software, and mobile platforms. Both models support a context window of approximately one million tokens, enabling them to process large data volumes within a single session.
To support more sustained and personalized interactions, Meta introduced two features called Active Memory and Active Focus. Active Memory maintains relevant information across ongoing conversations and retrieves details as needed for new tasks, while Active Focus helps the models continue functioning when a task becomes challenging, test alternative approaches, and recover after errors. Meta emphasizes that the models can also request clarification from users and verify actions before execution of critical tasks.
Models focus on coding and persistent AI agent performance
Pricing for Muse Wonder is set at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens through the Meta Model API, with cached input costing $0.20 per million tokens, as outlined in the company’s developer resources. Muse Wonder Full is offered exclusively through paid Muse Code subscriptions, not via separate API pricing. For developers with more intensive coding needs, Meta lists Power Usage at $50 a month and Maximum Usage at $200 a month.
Meta reports that Muse Wonder Full outperforms previous models on several agentic and coding benchmarks, citing results from DeepSWE and SWE-Marathon tests used to evaluate software engineering and long-duration coding capabilities. An independent evaluator, Artificial Analysis, assigned Muse Wonder an Intelligence Index score of 52 and Muse Wonder Full a score of 56 at maximum reasoning effort, placing these models above the earlier Muse Spark generation according to the evaluator’s index.
Enhanced safety measures accompany expanded model functionalities
Meta trained the Muse Wonder series to refrain from sharing private information without explicit permission and to decline requests involving harmful activities. The models also retain cybersecurity features that assist developers in identifying vulnerabilities within their code and improving security defenses. The company states that its most advanced models are evaluated under the Meta Superintelligence Scaling Framework, and plans to publish a more comprehensive safety report covering additional safety assessments following the initial launch.
Approximately 14 months prior to the release of Muse Wonder, Meta began a significant overhaul of its AI initiatives, building upon the foundations laid with Muse Spark, with training conducted at its Prometheus data center. The company intends to integrate Muse Wonder into more features within its Muse platform, starting with subscribers. The October launch provides developers with immediate access to Muse Wonder while reserving the larger Muse Wonder Full model exclusively for Muse Code subscribers.
